Suspect is a private charter boat out of Marina Bay run by Captain Jake Hanlon. Jake and his brother Jimmy have been fishing together since Jake was old enough to hold a fishing rod. When Jake was 11 years old he caught his very first giant Bluefin tuna with his brother Jimmy showing him how its done. They have been fishing Stellwagen bank together ever since. Stellwagen is a quick ride from Quincy, especially when you’re aboard the F/V Suspect. With over 800 horsepower and a top speed of 40 mph you will arrive at the fishing grounds fast. This gives you and your friends the best opportunity to hook a bluefin tuna.

F/V Suspect, built in 2020 is a 35’ Mitchell Cove equipped with a MASSIVE 800 hp Scania engine that propels the boat of speeds up to 40 mph! With this much speed you can expect to get to the fishing grounds early and after a long day of fishing its always nice to have a quick ride in. Suspect is also equipped with 4 custom Lebroc helm chairs that make for a very comfortable ride out to the fishing grounds. If naps are more your style, theres a bed below deck that sleeps three comfortably. These are just some of the luxuries you’ll get to enjoy aboard Suspect.

Captain Jake
Captain Jake Hanlon grew up on the ocean in Hingham, MA and has been fishing the local waters his entire life. He has fished all around the world in places like Fiji, Costa Rica, Belize, The Bahamas, Key West and both Florida coasts for many different species of fish. However, his true passion is angling the waters off Massachusetts like Stellwagen Bank and Cape Cod Bay. Jake is a USCG 100 ton captain, He has his FCC Marine Operators permit, his Assistance Towing Endorsement and is First Aid and CPR Certified.
Jonathan Shepard AKA (Shep)
Shep grew up fishing the local waters of Hingham MA. When Shep was 20 years old he moved to Belize and spent a year living with the locals perfecting his fly fishing skills. Since Shep moved back home he has been learning the art of catching monster bluefin tuna and is Jakes right hand man. The absolute best and most entertaining person to fish with, there is never a dull moment when Shep’s on the boat.
